Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using the Mac app Tagak (the "Service") provided by GO2GYM STUDIO ("we").

2. Who we are

"We" means 고투짐 스튜디오 (GO2GYM STUDIO), representative 이정환, business registration no. 862-18-02788.

3. The Service

1. The Service runs in the Mac menu bar and plays mechanical keyboard switch sounds while you type in any app with a keyboard connected to your Mac. It offers 9 switch sounds and volume control.
2. To play sounds, the Service needs the macOS "Input Monitoring" permission. It uses this permission only to detect the moment a key is pressed or released; it never reads what you type (see the Privacy Policy).
3. We may change the Service's sounds and screens to improve it. Once you buy the app, you can keep using it through updates.
4. The Service is sold separately from our iPhone/Android app Keymeow. A purchase in one does not unlock the other.

4. Price and payment

1. The Service is a paid app bought once on the Mac App Store. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases. The price is the amount shown by the Mac App Store.
2. You can download the app again on any Mac signed in with the same Apple Account from Purchased in the Mac App Store.

5. Refunds and withdrawal

1. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple's App Store. Refunds follow Apple's process (reportaproblem.apple.com).
2. The Service is digital content delivered as soon as you download it, so the right of withdrawal may be limited under Article 17(2) of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. We describe the app's features and required permission on its App Store page in advance.

6. Your obligations

You will not use the Service for unlawful purposes or reverse-engineer, copy or redistribute it.

7. Intellectual property

We own the rights to the Service's artwork and code. Switch sounds are processed recordings that we use with the original recordists' permission or under licenses that allow commercial use, such as public domain (CC0). Licenses for open-source material in the Service are shown in the app under the menu › About & Support › Open Source Licenses.

8. Disclaimer

1. We do not guarantee that the Service works the same way in every app, keyboard or text field. macOS does not report keystrokes in secure fields such as password fields, so no sound plays there.
2. The Service never stores or changes your keystrokes. Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for any loss of what you type.

9. Changes

If we change these terms, we will post a notice on this page 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes unfavorable to users).

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are handled by the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.

1. These terms take effect on 2026-10-14.
