Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using the Typebar app and its keyboards (the "Service") provided by GO2GYM STUDIO ("we").

2. The Service

1. The Service is a custom iPhone keyboard that looks and sounds like vintage typewriters, plus an app for practicing typing and sharing typewritten pages.
2. Downloading the app and the default typewriter (Black Glass) are free. Other typewriters can be bought in the in-app Store one at a time or all at once with the Lifetime Pass (Section 3), or used with a Typewriter Pass subscription (Section 4).
3. We may change the Service's visuals, sounds, and themes to improve it.

3. Purchases

1. Paid items are either one-time, non-consumable purchases (single typewriters and the Lifetime Pass) or auto-renewing subscriptions (Typewriter Pass Monthly and Yearly, Section 4). The price is the amount the App Store shows on the purchase screen.
2. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple's App Store. Refunds follow Apple's refund process (reportaproblem.apple.com).
3. Paid items are digital content delivered immediately on purchase, so your right to withdraw may be limited where the law allows. You can try any typewriter and hear its sound in the Store before buying.
4. Purchases can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account with "Restore Purchases" in the app.
5. The Lifetime Pass unlocks every current typewriter and every typewriter added to the Service later.

4. Typewriter Pass subscription

1. Typewriter Pass is an auto-renewing subscription billed monthly or yearly. The subscription name, length, and price per period are shown on the purchase screen before you pay.
2. While subscribed, you can use every typewriter the Lifetime Pass includes. When the subscription ends, only typewriters you bought separately remain, and a typewriter that was unlocked only by the subscription switches back to the default (Black Glass).
3. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
4. You can cancel anytime from "Manage Subscription" in the app or in iPhone Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
5. Refunds for any unused part of a paid period follow Apple's refund process (reportaproblem.apple.com).
6. If we raise the subscription price, Apple will notify you in advance, and where your consent is required and you do not give it, the subscription ends at the end of the current period.
7. If a free trial is offered, its length and the price after the trial are shown on the purchase screen, and it converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

5. Your responsibilities

Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes, or reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute it.

6. Intellectual property

The artwork (including the 3D typewriter renders) and code belong to us. Typing sounds are processed from public-domain (CC0) recordings. Practice texts are public-domain works.

7. Disclaimer

1. We do not guarantee the keyboards work the same in every app or text field. iOS may block custom keyboards in some fields, such as password fields.
2. We do not store what you type, so we are not responsible for loss of typed content, except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that are unfavorable to you).

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be handled by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

1. These terms take effect on October 12, 2026.
