목차
At a glance
- You can delete your Arctic Habit account in the app (developer: GO2GYM STUDIO, 고투짐 스튜디오). It works the same in the iPhone and Android apps.
- If you can't use the app, you can ask us to delete it at arctichabit@go2gym365.com. You don't need to reinstall the app.
- Deleting removes your account data and your island and focus backup from our servers right away, and it can't be undone.
- Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Arctic Pro subscription. If you subscribe, cancel it first (section 5).
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open Arctic Habit and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings from the menu.
- Tap My account → Delete account, read the notice and confirm.
- You can't delete your account during a focus session (including while it is paused). Finish or stop the session first.
- If you signed in with Apple, deleting also disconnects Sign in with Apple. If that can't happen automatically, the app shows you how to disconnect it in your Apple Account settings.
- When deletion finishes, this account's focus history and island on that device are deleted too.
2. If you can't use the app — ask by email
If you lost your device, deleted the app or can't sign in, email us to request deletion.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Send to | arctichabit@go2gym365.com |
| Subject | Arctic Habit account deletion request |
| Include | The email address of your account (if you used Apple's Hide My Email, that address) and how you sign in (Apple, Google or email code) |
| Identity check | Writing from your account's email address is fastest. If you write from another address, we send a confirmation to your account's email address first |
| Timing | Without delay after we confirm it's you, and within 10 days at the latest; we'll tell you when it's done |
An email request deletes the data on our servers. Records left on a device are deleted when you delete the app from that device.
3. What we delete
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account data (email address, sign-in identifiers, name and profile photo URL if Apple or Google provided them, account ID, sign-up and sign-in times) | Deleted right away |
| Invite code, invitation relationships, seal and orca unlock records | Deleted right away. Your account ID is also removed from the invitation record of the person who invited you (their invitation count and unlocked animals stay) |
| Rewarded-ad records | Deleted right away |
| Island and focus backup (animal and decoration placement and terrain, focus history, rewards, Focus Ice and transaction records, to-do titles and tag names, unlock records), backup device information, subscription status | Deleted right away, including server history. Server recovery data is deleted automatically after at most 30 days |
| Apple sign-in refresh token | Deleted right away (Sign in with Apple is disconnected) |
| Subscription records at our subscription service (RevenueCat) | We ask RevenueCat to delete them |
| This account's focus history and island on the device you delete it from | Deleted right away |
4. What we keep, and for how long
| Data | Retention | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account deletion record | 30 days after deletion is completed | To confirm the deletion finished |
| Keyed hash of a deleted sign-in identifier (a value the original can't be read from) | 90 days after you delete your account | To stop the same sign-in account from claiming invitation rewards again by leaving and re-joining |
| Deletion marker on the backup server (the random account ID and the deletion time) | As long as needed so the account can't be backed up again (no time limit; the value alone doesn't identify you) | So the same account can't be backed up again |
| Support emails, including your deletion request | 1 year after your request is resolved | Record of handling your request |
| App analytics data (Firebase Analytics) | 14 months after collection | Not linked to your account, so it can't be deleted with it |
| Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) | 90 days after collection | Not linked to your account |
| Ad-related data (Google AdMob) | According to Google's retention policy | Processed by Google |
| Server access logs | Deleted automatically after our server providers' log retention periods | Security and troubleshooting |
| Sign-in code email records | According to our email provider (Resend), generally 30 days | Kept by the email provider |
| Records on other devices that weren't the backup device | Until you delete the app on that device | They exist only on that device |
| App Store and Google Play payment records | According to Apple's and Google's policies | Kept by Apple and Google; we can't delete them |
5. Subscriptions and payments
Deleting your account doesn't cancel Arctic Pro. Cancel it where you bought it:
- iPhone: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device
- Android: Google Play Store app → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
Apple and Google handle payments and refunds and keep their own payment records.
6. Delete only some data and keep your account
- App analytics: turn off Settings → Share usage statistics in the app. No app analytics is sent, and the app instance ID used until then is reset.
- Any other deletion or correction: email arctichabit@go2gym365.com (section 7 of the Privacy Policy).
